Psychiatric Drug Withdrawal Support

For individuals, families, and professionals navigating complex healing.

After spending nearly 20 years on an SSRI—without ever receiving full informed consent—I eventually came to understand that what I was experiencing during my withdrawal attempts wasn’t a return of illness, but a profound physiological and neurological reaction to coming off the medication itself.

Despite tapering over a year and a half under ill-informed medical supervision, I spiraled into life-threatening withdrawal, including akathisia, and was repeatedly misdiagnosed and gaslit by some of the so-called “best of the best” in psychiatry. What followed was a long, non-linear, and often isolating road, one that disrupted my life, but also transformed it. I survived what many don’t. And I emerged with a radically different understanding of what it truly means to heal.

Since 2020, I’ve been coaching individuals, families, and fellow professionals impacted by psychiatric drug withdrawal and iatrogenic injury. Following a break, I am now reopening my doors to a small number of clients seeking informed, compassionate support on this complex path.

My approach is non-dogmatic, trauma-informed, and person-centered. It’s grounded in harm reduction, lived experience, and years of supporting others through the winding, often misunderstood terrain of psychiatric drug withdrawal. Whether you’re just beginning to consider tapering, in acute withdrawal, navigating reinstatement, supporting a loved one, or a practitioner trying to better understand what your client is going through,

I’m here to help.

I offer:

  • 1:1 Support for individuals tapering or recovering from psychiatric medication
